About Punjabi University (PUNJABI-UNIVERSITY)

Established on April 30, 1962 in the erstwhile princely state of Patiala with the main objective of furthering the cause of Punjabi language, art, and literature, Punjabi University has since evolved into the largest University in the state. Spread over 600 acres of land, its 500 teachers are imparting instruction and guidance to nearly 9,000 students in a multi-faceted, multi-pronged and multi-faculty environment comprising 65 Teaching and Research Departments on its Campus, five Regional Centers, six Neighborhood Campuses and 166 Colleges affiliated to it. 

The University has achieved a couple of milestones during its move towards furthering the overall development of Punjabi. Having published a record number of over 3,000 titles in Punjabi covering a wide range of areas and Establishing a special Punjabi Reference Library, it has taken upon itself the responsibility of catering to the linguistic and cultural needs of the overseas Punjabis.

The Students going to appear for the Punjabi University examination can get the admit card/Hall Ticket. The authorities are planning to release the admit card on the official website. Instructions for Downloading the  Hall Ticket 2019:

• In order to download the Hall Ticket, the Students shall have to log on to the official website of Punjabi University.
• Here the Students will have to check the Examination Result /Scheme section.
• Once the above mentioned section has been opened, the Students will get the link for downloading the Hall Ticket.
• After clicking on the above mentioned link, the Students will have to enter their Name, Father’s Name, and Program name and then click on submit.
• After submitting, the Students will be able to download the Hall Ticket.

Punjabi University Admission 2019

Punjabi University admissions to the Undergraduate/ Integrated courses offered by Punjabi University, students must have passed 12th (10+2) (Relevant Stream) or equivalent with minimum 45% – 60% marks in aggregate, depending upon the course. students will be considered eligible for admissions to Punjab University Postgraduate courses if they have completed their Graduation (Relevant Field) with at least 45% - 60% marks in aggregate, depending upon the course. Punjab University Courses Eligibility criteria vary from course to course. Therefore, the students should go through the eligibility criteria separately for the required course.
