About Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS)

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment, conducive to free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad,thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country . 

Established in the memory of great Sufi Saint Baba Farid by Punjab govt. in July, 1998 by an Act of the State Legislature. Fifth of its kind in India, First in Northern India- Punjab Govt. deserves the credit of establishing it.Due to inadequacy of health professionals(in quantity & quality) the need was imminent. Such a University is expected to be a "Pace-setter" - in developing appropriate modes & models of Health Care. University committed to providing Community oriented need based education & Training programmes for Health professionals. 

University is having membership of various associations like SAARC Universities, University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of its Act, 1956., Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, Included in the World Health Directory of Medical Schools. 

The Governor of Punjab has recognized all the degrees and diplomas certificates and other academic distinctions awarded by the this University and the Govt. of India has recognized the MBBS, MD/MS/PG Diploma/BDS/ Bsc(Nursing)/ M.Sc.(Nursing) o f the university.

BFUHS Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

Please download your BFUHS Admit Card/Hall Ticket/ Call Letter 2019 on specified date. You have to log in your account and get the print out of Admit Card. BFUHS Hall Ticket 2019 compulsory because it shows as aspirants. Written test hall ticket contains the detail venue and time, will be printed on admit card. Only those students who submitted BABA Farid University examination and deposit Examination Fee within prescribed date and time, will be allotted online Roll no.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Admission 2019

Admissions to Undergraduate and Diploma courses are done on basis of marks acquired by a Student in 12th (10+2) or equivalent (in the relevant field) and required the Entrance exam. Whereas, admissions to Diploma courses are merit-based.

• CBSE – Minimum 50% marks.
• Diploma in Pharmacy – Minimum 45% marks (for B.Pharm. (Lateral).
• NEET UG Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for MBBS and BDS.).
• PMET Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for B.Sc., BPT, BAMS, BHMS, and BMLT).

Final Selections to the Undergraduate programs are based on the allocation of seats through Counselling conducted by the concerned counseling authorities. Whereas, admissions to B.Pharm., B.Pharm. (Lateral) and Diploma Courses are Merit based.

BFUHS, Faridkot Postgraduate, and PG Diploma Admission

Admissions to Postgraduate and PG Diploma courses are done on basis of marks acquired by a Student in their Bachelor’s Degree Examination or equivalent (in the relevant field) and required the Entrance exam.

• Bachelor’s Program (Relevant Stream) - Minimum 50% marks.
• NEET PG Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for MD and MS).
• NEET MDS Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for MDS).
• PGET Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for M.Sc., MPT, and PG Diploma).

Online Exam Form of BFUHS

Students who want to apply for BFUHS Program Log on to the official university website and follow the steps given therein to fill and submit the application form for admission to the desired programme. After the application is submitted, candidates can take the printout of the application form along with the bank challan generated. Then, the student should deposit the application fee through the generated challan at any branch of the “Oriental Bank of Commerce” or “HDFC Bank”. The application fee can also be deposited online through internet banking within the stipulated time.
